Hammond Typewriter Company, New York, "Multiplex Folding" model with two type shuttles that can be turned around for continuous use. Two buttons on either side of the keyboard unlocked the keyboard folded up and stowed for transportation in the in the carry case, including original instruction booklets.

this rare model is in excellent original condition with almost no rust and the paint and emblems in especially fine condition.
